Tips for growing Giant Squill plant in pots or containers
Giant squill is generally known as leopard lily or Dirmiopsis Kirki is a succulent plant. The unique feature of this plant is the shape and desig on the leaves.

Features:
The leaves are long and oval in shape with light green in colour and dark green spots.
Leaves are very brittle and hence can break easily
The plant dosen't have any stem, instead has a bulb which stores water
Care tips:
Watering:
Once in a week or even less depending on the weather conditions
Potting mix:
Instead of using soil it is advisable to use potting mix without any soil
Potting mix ratio:
30 % cocopeat
30 % Perlite or sand or rice husk
30 % of Compost (vermicompost or cowdung compost or kitchen waste compost)
10 % Rock phosphate
Optional ( if you are living in areas where winter temperature goes below 10 degrees, then use cinder or more of sand than cocopeat)
Location:
This plant is totally outdoor
Needs bright sunlight and can tolerate harsh summer season
Pest & Insects:
Very less chances of getting infected, but at times it could get mealy bugs infestation during flowering season
Uses:
As a decor plant, the unique shape and colour of the leaves makes it very attractive
Traditional african medicine, to cure headaches and respiratory disorder (pls don't use unless you have medical guidance, the bulb is very toxic and could be poisonous too)
It purifies air around the plant, since this is an outdoor plant, you can keep it in the balcony near a sit out area
The soothing green colour gives you a pleasant and stress free environment
